EFPM represented Fair Play at EYOF 2022

More than 2 200 athletes from 48 countries competed in 10 sports at the EYOF 2022 between 24 - 30 July 2022 in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia. The Fair Play booth was operated in the Chill Out Zone by EFPM and by the Slovakian NOC's Fair Play Club.

Thanks to the honorable invitation of EOC and President Spyros Capralos, the representative of the International Fair Play Committee visited the XVI Summer European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF). Fair Play was in the center at the opening ceremony, which is especially important in this age group.

Arriving guests first met with Fair Play in the main Accreditation Center in the City Hall where a Fair Play exhibition was installed. The cartoon and photo exhibition was organized by the Fair Play Council of the Turkish Olympic Committee and the Fair Play Club of the Slovak Olympic & Sports Committee under the auspices of the EFPM. The Fair Play booth was very popular in the Chill Out Zone. Visitors could fill in Fair Play questioners and send welcome messages on origami hearts, among other activities. On last day of the European Youth Olympic Festival 2022 Treasurer of the EFPM, Katarina Raczova, who managed the activities at the EYOF, handed over the hearts to Jan Nosko, the mayor of the city, as a memory of the wonderful days spent in Banská Bystrica.
