Fair Play activities at the WAKO Youth World Kickboxing Championships 2024

The International Fair Play Committee was presented at the WAKO Youth World Kickboxing Championships 2024 in Budapest recently. It is important for both organizations to present Fair Play to young athletes.

As a result of the old cooperation between the two organizations, the young kickboxers were able to learn about the basic values of fair play, such as respect, care, joy and team spirit. Those who participated in the games received a Fair Play pin and brochure. 

Roy Baker, President of WAKO and Zsolt Mórádi, WAKO Board Member, among others, visited the Fair Play stand and played with the young athletes. The guests were welcomed by Gabor Deregan, Executive Director of the International Fair Play Committee. (Photo below)

WAKO is a long term partner of CIFP and strongly committed to Fair Play. Their promotion for Fair Play are an example for other organizations as well.
